South African Melktert (Milk Tart)



Ingredients



Original recipe makes 1 9-inch pie



  1. 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  2. 1 cup white sugar
  3. 3 egg yolks
  4. 1 cup cake flour
  5. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  8. 4 cups milk
  9. 3 egg white
  10. 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar

Directions



1. Preheat the range to 375 levels F (190 levels C). Covers 9 inches deep pie bowls with veggie oil cooking apply.
