Ethiopian Cabbage Dish (east African)


Ingredients


Original recipe makes 5 servings



  1. 1/2 cup olive oil
  2. 4 carrots, thinly sliced
  3. 1 onion, thinly sliced
  4. 1 teaspoon sea salt
  5. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  8. 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  9. 5 potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes

Directions




Warm the olive oil in a container over method heat. Prepare the green beans and red onion in the hot oil about 5 moments. Mix in the sodium, spice up, cumin, turmeric extract, and clothes and cook another 15 to 20 moments. Add the potatoes; cover. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until apples are soft, 20 to half an hour.
