Easy New Zealand Squares


Ingredients



Original recipe makes 9 servings



  1. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  2. 1 cup flaked coconut
  3. 1 cup chopped dates
  4. 1/2 cup white sugar
  5. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  6. 1/4 cup butter
  7. 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  8. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  9. 1/4 cup flaked coconut






Directions



1. Pre-heat range to 325 levels F (165 levels C). Oil and flour a 9 inches rectangle pan.

2. In a large dish, merge flour, 1 cup grape, schedules, glucose and cooking dust. In a soup pot, liquefy butter, fantastic syrup and vanilla flavor. Add over combination in dish. Mix until crumbly, then press into prepared pan.

3. Bake in pre-heated range for 20 to 30 minutes. Spread top with 1/8 cup grape.
