Paneer Kofta Curry
Paneer Kofta Curry
I know it is hard to cook food in the summer standing in front of a hot stove. Microwave is the best and convieneant for cooking in summer time. Paneer Kofta cooked in the microwave is less oily and even the fear of kofta breaking out in oil is fixed while cooking it in the microwave and obviously the time taken to cook is much less. Come let us try out cooking Paneer Kofta using the microwave it easy, fast, and convenient!
Ingredients for Paneer Kofta
· Paneer - 250 gms.
· Ararot or Maida - 1-2 spoon.
· Salt - 1/2 tea spoon (as per the taste)
· Coriander Powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
· Green Chilli - 1 (finely chopped)
· Green Coriander - 1 table spoon (finely chopped)
Ingredients for Curry
· Tomato - 3-4 (medium sized)
· Green chilli - 1 -2
· Ginger - 1 inch small piece.
· Cashew - 15
· Oil - 1 -2 spoon.
· Cumin - 1/2 tea spoon.
· Hinga - 1 pinch.
· Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
· Coriander Powder - 1 tea spoon.
· Red chilli powder - 1/6 tea spoon (optional)
· Salt- 3/4 tea spoon (as per the taste)
· Garam Masala- 1/4 tea spoon
· Green coriander - -1 table spoon (chopped)

How to make Paneer Kofta
Put paneer in a bowl, add ararot and mash it till it mixes well and becomes thick. Now add coriander powder, salt, green chilli, and fresh green coriander to the mixture and mix all the ingredients well. The batter for making koftas is ready.
Now take microwave safe tray or bowl with a lid and grease it with oil. Now take a small quantity of the mixture make small small balls from it and keep in it inside the bowl placed at even distances.
Set the microwave at highest temperature, and set it for 4 minutes. Now place the tray filled with unbaked koftas into the microwave oven.Take out the tray after 4 minutes from the microwave. Now your koftas are ready.
How to make Curry for Paneer Kofta in Microwave
Soak the cashews in luke warm water for half an hour.
Wash and cut the tomatoes into big pieces, takeout the seeds of green chilli and wash it, peel the ginger and wash it. Now add all these ingredients along with the soaked cashews in the mixer and make a paste of it.
Now add oil in the microwave safe bowl, add cumin , hinga, coriander powder and turmeric powder in it. Now microwave these ingredients for 2 minutes at highest temperature and take it out. Now add the paste of the masala we prepared in the last step, add salt, red chilli, garam masala in the bowl. Mix them well and microwave it for 3 minutes.
Now take out the bowl once the masala gets microwaved. Add one cup water and again microwave it for 3 minutes with a close lid.
Now take out the bowl out of the microwave and your curry is ready. Add green coriander and prepared koftas into the curry and microwave it for 2 more minutes.
Now Paneer Kofta Curry prepared in Microwave is ready to eat with hot chapatis, parathas, or rice.
